My patterns are designed to be approachable, whatever your experience. Each one is broken down into clear, manageable steps with plenty of photos, so even if you're picking up a needle for the first time, you'll be able to follow along. If a pattern involves a technique you're less familiar with, I make sure to explain it fully rather than assuming you already know.

That's exactly what I want to help avoid - but if it happens, please get in touch. I'd genuinely rather you reach out and ask than feel frustrated or give up on a project. It doesn't have to be perfect, it's unique and hand made, and getting a little stuck is a normal part of learning something new.

Each pattern includes a full materials list, so you'll know exactly what to buy before you begin - no guesswork, and nothing unexpected halfway through. But generally speaking you'll need needles, fabric, thread, embroidery scissors and possibly an embroidery hoop.

All patterns are instant digital downloads. Once you've purchased through Etsy, you'll be able to download your PDF pattern straight away - no waiting for anything in the post.

Yes - you're welcome to sell finished items you've hand made yourself using my patterns (a small credit such as "pattern by Claire Harvey Design" is always appreciated). What I do ask is that you don't sell, share, or redistribute the pattern itself; each pattern is for your own personal use.

Not at the moment - right now my focus is on my existing collection of patterns. It's something I may offer in future, so do check back, but for now I'd encourage you to have a browse through the shop to see if something already fits what you're after.
